Cellist / Pianist
Silvia Acosta Santos is a composer and a cellist based in London (United Kingdom). She started her music career from a very young age playing the cello with Juraj Janosik, at the Conservatory in Tenerife for ten years. There she started developing a deep connection with music theory and composing thanks to her teacher Milena Perisic.
Silvia studied her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Barcelona, where she studied music creation and production. Later on, she moved to the United Kingdom to study a Master in Music at Kingston University of London, specialized in Composing for Film and Television with Leah Kardos as her tutor.
Furthermore, Silvia has scored for different kinds of media such as short films, documentaries, fashion videos, advertising, theater, dance, and fashion shows. Including a collaboration with RVCA Europe and Francis Pérez, "El Perdón" directed by Ismael Derhali, and "The Conference of the Trees" directed by Sinai Noor, or "Nekane" directed by Clara Rodríguez among others.
Silvia is currently working on her first solo album (title tba).
